Kennington Windband was created by Pat Aitken in approximately 2014 to give the community, especially young children the chance to play together.

We take players from across Oxfordshire of all ages and abilities; there are no auditions.

There is a training band for those players who have just begun their musical journey where the focus is on counting, rhythm and fun.

The main band enjoys playing show tunes, movie themes and chart hits.

Both bands meet monthly.

We hold a charity concert yearly and play at some local events and care homes throughout the year.
